Enameled metal 'Public Telephone sign'; Wonderful British heritage! Rare double sided blue enameled sign. A vibrant rich blue strong enamel sign with clear white writing on both sides. Bringing the spirit and history of the sign through is the subtle yet noticeable ware – in general for its age it has stood very well against the elements. This vintage / antique sign remains vibrant, clear and colourful (more faded on one side than the other).
This piece can easy sit in a category of vintage signs. However it stands tall against other types of vintage sign, often advertising, as this is intended for a public service announcement and does not contain the more common pictograph.
